Nucar Mid Atlantic is Hiring an Automotive Office Manager Near Castle, DE
Nucar Connection in New Castle, Delaware is looking for an Automotive Office Manager. As an essential team member at Nucar you will oversee accounting procedures and lead your team to greater levels of success.
We are looking for a self-motivated top performer with a detail oriented approach to daily responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles. This position reports directly to the Controller/Corporate Office.
NOTE: Dealership office experience is required for this role.
What you'll do:
- Mentor office staff to ensure profitability and consistently high performance
- Oversee usage of accounting platforms
- Assist in timely and complete financial statements
- Maintain accounts payable/receivable
- Complete periodic bank reconciliations
- Familiar with every desk in the business office
- Comply with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop yourself and the office team to maintain a super work environment and get better every day
What you'll need:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Prior automotive office and accounting software experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products and Google Docs
- Exposure to Reynolds & Reynolds dealer management system a plus
- Strong communication skills with Nucar staff and management
- A professional work ethic
- Excellent organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to coach, lead, inspect, and recognize your team often

- Automotive Car Dealership: 2 years (Required)
- Accounting: 3 years (Required)
- Reynolds & Reynolds DMS System: 2 years (Preferred)
